Do's and Don'ts

This is my list of the top 10 Do's and Don'ts for your webpage:

DO'S

10. use contrasting colors
9. use tables if you have a busy background
8. use small fonts (size 3)
7. get help if you need it!
6. keep the layout simple
5. keep the navigation easy
4. have new, original information
3. use images sparingly
2. keep loading time short
1. have fun!

DON'TS

10. use MPGs
9. steal images or information
8. use colors or backgrounds that aren't readable
7. use frames if you can't work them
6. use MIDI background music without an off button
5. "create" thumbnails with height and width tags
4. put large images on your page
3. forget a disclaimer!
2. use pop-up java "what's your name?" buttons
1. Use splash pages unless absolutely neccesary
